Miller’s Vanguard provide specialist maintenance for Bakery & Catering facilities within Supermarkets and other independent foodservice establishments.

Established in 1978, Miller’s Vanguard started as a small family run firm, servicing and repairing bakery equipment across the north-west. Over the years we expanded into a national operation, winning our first foodservice retail contract in 1987. Now part of the Ali Group, a major foodservice equipment provider across Europe, we still retain the strong family ethos on which we were founded.

Our primary objective is to offer our customers the best in-house repair and cleaning maintenance regime, tailoring our business model to the requirements of a number of national supermarkets.

Our business is divided into 4 core areas;

• Planned Preventative Maintenance & Deep Cleaning
• Reactive Engineering
• Equipment Refurbishment
• Caustic Cleansing

We also offer a number of ancillary support services including; asset management, equipment surveying, shop refits and have a continuous improvement strategy in place to best support customers and develop our business further.

In addition to servicing Bakery Equipment, a successful growth strategy allowed us to diversify into supporting both Catering & Deli functions and in doing so enabled us to increase our workforce proportionately. Our headcount stands at circa 370, almost double that reported 7 year previously. We continue to look for committed, highly skilled reactive engineers (employed nationally), cleaning technicians & ancillary support who will adopt the Miller’s Vanguard ethos and uphold our position as the leading force in front.
